How did this come about? Well, I'm a golfer. Any golfer out there has at one time, or another suffered abrasions, nicks, and sore calluses. Whomever you are in this great sport, whether a beginner, weekend warrior, or professional – you will be hitting buckets of balls at the range to improve your technique. The hands can take a pounding, sometimes to the point you can hardly play the next day.
You’ve tried sports tape, sticky gauze, band-aids – they offer some kind of hope but never seem to perform on the round or at the practice range. Actually, they become more of a distraction as they slip off; there’s a sticky mess… you get the message, they don’t cut it, and you hate going back to them as a solution.
Through our extensive research, trial, and error – DigiGard was created.
"This unique brace offers the comfort and protection you have been looking for. You hardly feel you have it on, and that means no distraction."
This is a very important feature of DigiGard. They are flexible and conform to most areas of the finger. The bottom line is that DigiGard works in cushioning and protecting the bothersome area while you are playing or practicing. You can’t say that of other solutions.
It is simply amazing how a little nick or abrasion can put you off your game. A distraction equates to not playing to your full potential, and to some degree, it diminishes your “enjoyment factor” of the game.
DigiGard gives you that perfect protection, like a mini shock absorber, to those nagging areas of the finger.
Another feature of the DigiGard brace is they come in different sizes – small, medium, and large. Our fingers are sized differently. The thumb is the thickest; the index, middle, and ring fingers are about the same. The pinky is obviously the smallest. That is why DigiGard braces are handmade.
They are specially designed so you can simply slip them on, and you are done. The fingers are protected until the problem area has sufficiently healed. When healed, DigiGard has done its job, and you store it in your bag, ready for another day.
DigiGard braces can take a pounding and can last quite a while, as observed in our tests. You can lightly wash them, and they dry quickly between paper towels. The vinyl pouch is handy to store the braces, so don’t throw them away when you purchase.
During our time in business, we discovered other sports that had similar issues to golf, such as tennis, bowling, baseball, and any other various activities that cause nagging soreness to the fingers. DigiGard is the solution. Other similar products are way too bulky to be effective.
DigiGard – play on!
